This article covers the following platforms

  • MSFS 2024
  • MSFS 2020
  • ATS
  • FSX
  • Prepar3D

This warning means your simulator build is newer than the last build Flow was tested with. You can keep flying; no action is needed.

The full message reads: “The simulator version is higher than the version Flow has been tested on. This might break some features or Flow entirely.”

You may see it if you opted into simulator beta builds, or if an official simulator update shipped before the team tested it with Flow.

Simulator updates normally do not affect Flow’s features. The message is only a precaution while you wait for a Flow update that supports the current production release of MSFS 2020. If Flow behaves oddly after a simulator update, this version mismatch is the likely cause — wait for the next Flow update.
