Restart your simulator first. If the error comes back, reset the Cameras.cfg file with the steps below.
ChasePlane uses its own camera definitions in FSX/P3D and does not use the built-in cameras. Change camera angles through ChasePlane, not in the sim. If you already do this, your cameras.cfg file may have a problem.
- Shut down the simulator.
- Open the AppData folder for your simulator:
- %APPDATA%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5
- %APPDATA%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4
- %APPDATA%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3
- %APPDATA%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2
- %APPDATA%\Microsoft\FSX-SE
- %APPDATA%\Microsoft\FSX
- Delete the Cameras.cfg file.
- Launch your simulator without ChasePlane and wait for the scenario screen to appear.
- Shut down the simulator.
- Launch ChasePlane. A message will appear saying it fixed things.
- Launch the simulator.
